We meet at Riverside park at 11:30 a.m. Bring a lunch! Riverside park in on Kemp ave by the Elks club.

Welcome to Watertown Daytime MOPS!

What: We are a local chapter of MOPS International. MOPS stands for Mothers of PreSchoolers. MOPS, in a nutshell, is a non-denominational Christian support group for mothers of young children. Check out www.mops.org for more info.

Who: MOPS is open to any mother of any age with children who have not yet begun the first grade.

Where: MOPS meets at First Baptist Church. The church is located at 111 14th Ave. NE. The easiest way to reach the church is to take U.S. Hwy 81 to the north edge of Watertown. Head west on 14th Ave. about two blocks. The church will be on your right.

When: Meetings are held the first and third Thurs. of the month from 9:00-11:15 AM, Sept-May. Informal meetings are held twice per month during June/July.

Why: To meet with and share experiences with other moms in the same stage of life.

Cost: Your first MOPS meeting is free with no obligation to join. Watertown MOPS charges members approx. $75 per year. We are one of the least expensive MOPS groups in the state. A portion of this fee is a required due to MOPS International. The rest covers such things as arts/crafts and childcare expenses. Scholarships are available.
